We can save our customers money





A customer of ours was considering replacing a 15 ton overhead crane. A&B Crane refurbished and modernized the system, saving the customer approximately $12,000.00. All the controls were changed to VFD's as well as replacing all the travel motors. The crane got a fresh coat of paint, all new wiring, festooning, and a wireless remote control. Making the system as good as when it was first installed.



We can do what others can not





This customer has 4 acid tanks that could only be opened by an overhead crane. This created a dangerous situation for the employees. An operator would have to lean over the tanks while standing on an 8 foot step ladder to hook and unhook the overhead crane. Other crane companies tried to sell the idea of using jib cranes, but the jib cranes would have had the same safety issues. In addition to installing these jibs, the tanks would have to be moved at a costly relocation price. A&B Crane Services studied the procedure used to load and unload these tanks. Then we were able to design and engineer a lifting device that allows the operator to open and close the tanks. All while safely on the ground and out of harms way. This allows for an increase in production, because of all the tanks can be open at any rim if desired, not just one at a time like before. This saved our customer over $20,000.00 in the cost of jib cranes and relocating the tanks.
